Welcome to the Newport Yacht Club!

Our memebership comes from all walks of life and has events for sailors (racing and cruising), boaters and fishermen and folks that simply love being on Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. The House Committee sponsors "Grill Nights" and Sunday breakfast June through September as well as Saturday night specials throughout the Fall and Winter season. Our Entertainment Committee organizes many events through out the year including Opening Day festivites, the Annual Dinner and events such as "Chef du Jour" and Commodore's Day.

Volunteers are the key to NYC and execution of all aspects of the club. Our full service marina and dock staff is overseen by the Float and Dock Committee. The Regatta and Offshore Committees plan local and international saling events Spring through Fall and volumteers are always needed to run "Volunteer" our race committee boat. Please consider the many ways you can volunteer for NYC.

The Annual Cruise is open to all members (sail and power). The 2007 Cruise took us to Dutch Harbor and Bristol Yacht Club for bbq on the beach and dinner and breakfast on Bristol Harbor. Plans are now underway for the 2008 Annual Cruise.
